The Dominate Sit and Go Poker Course: How To Consistently Win SNG Tournaments

Dominating Sit and Go Poker Course - How to Consistently win SNG Tournaments

What will I learn? Course Outline

Sit-and-Go poker tournaments, which were previously unheard of in casinos poker rooms (apart from single-table satellites), are now in high demand.

Sit and Go Poker is a popular game that many online professionals enjoy.

Sit-and-go tournaments are named so because there is no predetermined start time. Instead of having to register in advance for a tournament which starts at a certain time, no matter how many entries are there, the SNG begins when all seats are taken. The field size is set, but the start time can be adjusted. Some poker sites have a shorter wait time for single table SNGs at low limits. Higher buy in tournaments can take longer to fill.

Different types of Sit n Go Tournaments

SNG's most basic form is the single-table tourney (STT). STT was designed to make it easier for players to participate in tournaments without making long-term commitments. It has become a popular option in online poker. Although the single table SNG evolved to accommodate 180 players, the classic single table SNG is still very popular.

Single table SNG, or STT, - typically seats nine to ten people. The entry cost includes a buy in and an entry fee. This usually comes out to $10+1. The $10 buy-in goes towards the prize pool and the $1 entry fees go to the poker site for the operation of the game. Single table tournaments pay the top three players. A common payout structure is 50% for first, 30% for second and 20% for third.

Multi table SNG will vary in size. The most common sizes for MTTs will be 18 players (2 tables), 45 tables (5 players), 90 tables (10 players), 180 tables (20 players) and 90 tables (10 players). They function in the exact same way as single-table SNG, except that the players who have been eliminated from the game are closed off at each table and then the table count slowly decreases until the last table is left. The prize pool is bigger, but your chances of cashing out in the tournament are lower. How to Play Single Table Tournaments
