He has spent millions of dollars and raised millions to beat Marjorie Taylor Greene

He spent millions on Marjorie Taylor Greene's support.

Luongo did recall that he was willing to give $25 to the Democrat. He struggles to remember his name. Luongo is running for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Taylor Greene is a Republican congresswoman whose most recent outrages include calling Democrats "party of pedophiles", and speaking at a conference organized by white nationalists.

Luongo, aged 83, said that she finds it annoying to hear what she is saying and doing. "A disgrace."

Luongo received an automated text message from the same Democratic candidate, a few weeks later. "Hey Marcus Flowers," began the text. He explained that a donation before midnight would help maintain momentum to "end Marjorie Taylor Greene’s terror." Luongo made a $50 donation.

Another text message, "Hey Marcus", was sent a few days later. He then sent $50 more.

It didn’t matter that Luongo does not live in Georgia or the district where Flowers is running. It does not seem to matter that Flowers - or any Democrat, for the matter - is viewed as having very little chance of unseating Greene. He won in 2020 with close to 75 percent of votes in one of Georgia’s most proTrump areas. (Of course, his name appeared on that ballot, but the Democrat who was running against Greene that election dropped out because of personal reasons).

Luongo calls from Boca Raton (Fla.) where he runs a language school. He says, "It's crucial that we tell Marjorie Taylor Greene dass not everyone loves her." "I get the opportunity to make a statement."

One of the most important principles of American politics today is that anyone, even a unknown challenger, can raise large sums of cash by launching a long-shot political campaign if they have a right opponent, preferably one who inspires widespread dismay.

Marcus Flowers (46), a former Army vet who is just starting to take an interest in politics, believes Greene is the right opponent. Greene has made comments in the past that even fellow Republicans have called "appalling," disgusting, and "bigoted", and who energetically supported the false claim of former president Donald Trump that he won 2020. Flowers is one of three Democrats vying for Greene's attention. He seldom speaks more than a few words and never mentions her. "I'm Marcus Flowers," he tries to tell Marjorie Taylor Greene, an Army veteran and Democrat, in a pleasant baritone.

According to his most recent campaign finance reports, this strategy helped him raise over $8.1million by May 1. According to the Federal Election Commission website, he had raised more funds than any congressional candidate in the country as of Monday. This despite experts stating that a Democrat cannot win Georgia's fourteenth District.

Andra, Emory University's political science professor, stated that "this area is strongly Republican." "If Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to be reelected, I wouldn't hold my breath. strategies in making it big in georgia win for life
