Earning Rewards
MGM Rewards was the winner of the award for best earning rewards
A key feature of any loyalty program you choose is the rate atwhich you are rewarded for your loyalty.
MGM Rewards members earn MGM Rewards Points (instead of Express Comps), when they play in gambling, dining, and hotels. MGM Rewards points are also available for slot play, video poker, and video lottery.
MGM Rewards doesn’t release its formula to calculate gambling rewards. MGM instead states that you will earn points depending on how long you play, what type of game you choose, and the average amount of bet. MGM Rewards points are 1 MGM Point for every $1 spent on dining out and hotel stays. MGM Rewards points can be worth 1 cent each so you get a 1% return for non-gaming purchases.
Caesars Rewards allows you to earn 1 reward credit for every $5 you spend on a classic slot machine. You need to play $10 at most video poker machines in order to earn 1 reward credit. Reward Credits will be earned based on how long you play, what type of table game, and how much you wager. Caesars Rewards members can earn 1 Reward credit for every $1 spent on hotel folios or at restaurants.
Caesars Rewards points have a value of up to one cent. Some popular redemptions, such as gift cards and free play, only provide half the value. To get $5 worth of free play, redeem 1,000 Reward credits. Your hotel and dining spending yields only 0.5c in free gaming per $1 -- half the MGM reward for similar types of spending.

Caesars and MGM both offer co-branded credit cards which allow you to earn points on everyday purchases as well as bonuses for certain categories. These cards include the Caesars Rewards Visa Credit Card Credit Card and MGM Rewards Mastercard.
MGM is the better option, even though Caesars has slightly higher rewards. Caesars rewards you with 5 points per dollar for spending in-house. MGM Rewards cards earns you 3 points for every dollar spent at MGM Resorts Destinations.
However, the most important thing is that MGM Rewards credit card has Pearl status and offers elite tier credits along with rewards points. Caesars doesn’t offer either. Redeem Poker Points And Bonus - Instructions to Follow
